'Sleepy' Donald Trump humiliated with own words in resurfaced TV appearance

Donald Trump is once again facing criticism after cameras caught him looking as if he drifted off during an official meeting the same behavior he used to mock President Biden for.

A resurfaced clip shared by the X account RpsAgainstTrump highlights the irony. In a 2024 speech, Trump ridiculed Biden for supposedly being able to “fall asleep anywhere,” even bragging, “You'll never see me sleeping in front of a camera.” Yet the very thing he mocked has now become a recurring pattern in his own public appearances.

In the video going viral, Trump sits through a cabinet-level discussion about the ongoing war, head tilted, eyes shut, and completely still. Even when a speaker directly addresses him while explaining that thousands of people are dying each week, Trump only gives a slight nod his eyes remaining completely closed. Viewers pointed out that he stayed in that position from the start of the clip until the end.

People on social media quickly reacted, with many calling out the contradiction between Trump’s past comments and his current behavior. One user wrote, “There is always a video. Always!” Others piled on with lines like “Dozy Donnie” and “From the man who called Biden ‘Sleepy Joe,’ let me introduce… Dozing Don.”

This isn’t an isolated moment. In another recent press conference, Trump appeared to nod off while Dr. Mehmet Oz was speaking about lowering the cost of weight-loss medications. Trump leaned back, blinking slowly, until a sudden commotion a man fainting in the Oval Office snapped him awake.

These repeated clips have sparked fresh conversations about Trump’s energy levels, especially considering how often he focused on Biden’s alertness and stamina during past campaigns. As more footage surfaces, many viewers are pointing out that Trump’s own words are now coming back to haunt him.
