CNN breaking news as Trump loses it in foul-mouthed rant live on-air

President Donald Trump has once again drawn widespread criticism after reportedly referring to countries like Somalia, Haiti, and Afghanistan as “hellholes” during a public appearance. The comments echo remarks he had previously denied making in 2018, reigniting debates over his rhetoric and views on immigration.

Speaking to a live audience, Trump stated that he had imposed a “permanent pause on third world migration” from countries including Afghanistan, Haiti, and Somalia. When an audience member repeated the term “shhole,” Trump responded, “I didn’t say shhole – you did!” He then went on to question why the United States only accepted immigrants from certain countries:

“Why can’t we have some people from Norway, Sweden – just a few. Let’s have a few. From Denmark, do you mind sending us some nice people?”

He further described other countries as “disasters” and “riddled with crime,” making pointed remarks about Somalia in particular.

CNN anchor Abby Phillip highlighted the contradiction between these statements and Trump’s 2018 denial of similar language. At the time, Trump insisted that he had not made such comments, adding, “No, I’m not a racist. I am the least racist person you have ever interviewed.”

These recent remarks have reignited conversations about Trump’s stance on immigration and race, prompting criticism from political opponents and human rights groups.
