Melania Trump beams with 6-word message as she receives White House Christmas tree

Why Melania Trump’s 2025 White House Christmas Tree Arrival Is Getting Attention

The White House has officially welcomed its 2025 Christmas tree, and First Lady Melania Trump was front and center for the tradition. She greeted the towering concolor fir with a smile as it arrived on a horse-drawn carriage, continuing a long-standing holiday custom.

This year’s tree comes from Korson’s Tree Farms in Michigan, a family-run operation that has been growing evergreens since the early 1970s. The fir was selected in September by Dale Haney, the White House superintendent of grounds, who has helped shape holiday displays for decades.

Melania, dressed in a cream coat, burgundy gloves, and festive shoes, took a moment to look over the tree before posing for photographs and thanking the team who delivered it. She called it “a beautiful tree” and wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

Korson’s Tree Farms expressed pride in having one of their evergreens chosen for the White House. Representatives said the honor symbolizes the work of Christmas tree growers across the United States, many of whom spend years nurturing trees before they’re ready for the holiday season.

Earlier this year, a short preview video hinted at Melania’s holiday theme, showing her arranging gold-themed decorations, garlands, and ornaments. With the tree now in place, the First Lady is expected to unveil her full 2025 Christmas décor soon.

The Michigan-based farm grows multiple species of evergreens across more than 1,000 acres and supplies trees, wreaths, garlands, and other holiday products nationwide.
