Trump health fears as 'incoherent rambling' and 'physical decline' is 'same as Biden'

Concerns about Donald Trump’s mental sharpness are no longer coming only from his critics they are now being openly compared to the very attacks he once aimed at Joe Biden.

For years, Donald Trump mocked President Joe Biden over age, memory lapses, and verbal stumbles. Those attacks were a central pillar of Trump’s political messaging. But recent public appearances are fueling growing concern that Trump may now be displaying the same problems he once ridiculed.

In a recent video discussion on The Daily Beast’s YouTube channel, chief creative and content officer Joanna Coles drew a direct comparison between Trump’s current behavior and Biden’s past struggles. According to Coles, Trump’s recent performances show what she described as clear “cognitive slippage,” echoing many of the traits Republicans previously used to attack Biden.

She pointed to rambling, unfinished sentences, moments of apparent confusion, and visible disengagement during official events. Coles also noted extended pauses, difficulty tracking prepared remarks, and instances where Trump appeared to drift while the teleprompter continued. The comparison was striking: the same behaviors that once fueled right-wing outrage are now appearing in Trump himself.

These concerns intensified after Trump appeared to contradict his own recent statements when questioned by reporters. Earlier this month, Trump publicly claimed he would release footage of a military strike related to Venezuela. Days later, when asked about the footage, he seemed unaware of his earlier comments. Rather than clarify, he dismissed the question as “fake news” and lashed out at the reporter personally, calling them “obnoxious” and “terrible.”

Pro-democracy commentator Harry Sisson highlighted the contradiction by posting both clips side by side, allowing viewers to judge for themselves. The contrast raised serious questions about whether Trump genuinely forgot his previous statement or chose deflection over accountability a pattern that has become increasingly familiar.

Adding to the unease, Trump was also seen appearing to fall asleep during a roundtable meeting announcing a new agriculture policy. The meeting reportedly took place in the mid-afternoon, not late at night or after a long travel schedule. The optics were hard to ignore.

Reacting to the footage, Sisson warned that the situation should concern every American, regardless of party affiliation. A president struggling to remain alert during policy briefings raises legitimate questions about fitness for office, particularly when national security and economic stability are at stake.

What makes the moment especially notable is the irony. Trump built much of his political brand around portraying himself as energetic, sharp, and mentally superior to his opponents. Now, the same critiques once weaponized against Biden are being applied to Trump by journalists, commentators, and everyday voters.

This isn’t about partisan insults or viral clips. It’s about transparency, accountability, and leadership. Americans deserve a commander-in-chief who is mentally engaged, prepared, and capable of handling the immense responsibilities of the presidency.

As the 2026 midterms approach and political tensions rise, voters are increasingly asking a simple question: if age and cognitive health mattered when Joe Biden was in office, shouldn’t the same standard apply to Donald Trump now?
